Weekly recap: shelves and the city edition 

Just got back from the shelves and the city trip and I had such a blast meeting so many of my mutuals and making new friends. Honestly, I still can’t believe that I was even invited to this event, but forever grateful and hoping next year I’m able to come again. Plus, going on this trip made me even more determined to have my imprint and help publish more sapphic books and gave me so much motivation after talking to so many of my friends. 

Currently reading/what I read 

Funny enough, I didn’t read on this bookish brand trip, but I was able to buy a lot of books 😅 but I finished two books before and on my flight to LA and enjoyed both of them. French Pressed For Love by MC Hutson was such a messy lesbian romance that got me out of my reading slump and I need everyone to read it right now! And Bachelorette number 12 was a fun read that had me smiling throughout the book. Reading both of these romances just makes me delusional in my own love life and think that I’ll meet my future girlfriend/wife even though I never go outside 😂

Now as a mood reader, I have to read at least two books at a time and the ones I’m currently getting through are Toni and Addie go Viral and Breaking Character, which, funnily enough, are both about actresses! I don’t have that many thoughts on either because I have just started them, but so far so good.
